Documentary: Education Under Fire

Documentary – Open to the Public on Stanford University Campus

Baha’is from Redwood City have been active in publicizing issues surrounding the Iranian regime’s systematic program to to deprive young Iranian Baha’is of the right to a College Education….

…yes you read that right!  In Iran, right now, the Iranian regime is not only preventing Baha’i young people from attending public Universities; it’s gone way beyond that point.  When the Baha’is in Iran have simply made efforts internally to educate their own young people, these efforts have also been thwarted by the authorities who even went so far as to imprison professors whose only “crime” was to attempt to educate members of their own community!

Find out more at the showing of the Documentary “Education Under Fire” Friday April 6  at 7 pm at the Stanford University Cemex auditorium at the graduate school of business Knight Center (641 Knight Way, Stanford, CA).  The showing will be followed by a panel discussion.

Everyone is welcome and admission is free to this informative event.
